Samaria

While we often think of North America as "Christian," the reality is an estimated 235 million people in our "Samaria" have no personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That is seven out of every ten people! The lostness of North America runs deep, and the gospel often meets a calloused response in this modern-day Samaria. These Web pages are a starting point to being your church's journey to take Christ throughout our "Samaria."

Montana Partnerships
	2006 begins our five year partnership with our sister state of Tennessee. Montana Southern Baptist Convention has signed a partnership covenant with Tennessee Southern Baptists to join together to reach Montana for Christ.

North American Mission Board
	Southern Baptists use the North American Mission Board (NAMB) as a nerve center for the networking of more than 48,000 Southern Baptist congregations and more than 5,000 missionaries across our continent.

Woman's Missionary Union
	Founded in 1888, Woman's Missionary Union is an auxiliary to the Southern Baptist Convention that seeks to equip adults, youth, children and preschoolers to become radically involved in the mission of God. wMu offers an array of missions resources including conferences, ministry ideas and models, volunteer opportunities, curricula for age-level missions education, leadership training and more.

Builders for Christ

The leadership of fourteen of our Builders for Christ Teams, who served in this Ministry last year, have reviewed information from Churches in Mississippi, Louisiana and Venezuela. We pursued and discussed projects in Minnesota, Maine, Ohio and Illinois, but did not receive submittals from any of those Churches. We have found three (3) projects which appear to be very appropriate for the Builders for Christ Ministry this year. We have completed initial visits and work sessions with each of these fine Congregations. We sincerely feel God has called us to help these three Groups. We are very pleased with all aspects of the possibility of a deep relationship between each of them with the many fine Teams who make up the Builders for Christ network. Let us share what we have learned.
