Former NFL Player Leads Revival at Canyon Ferry

By: Terri Paske

Wallace Francis, former NFL Atlanta Falcon, now of Ambassadors for Christ International led revival at Canyon Ferry Road Baptist Church. His message was revival in the local church, our nation and for every individual. He met with 615 people while in Helena; in groups from 5 to 100. The revival was preceded by many hours of prayer. Beginning with a week of evening prayer meetings leading to a Solemn Assembly Service. The church held a 16 hour prayer vigil on Saturday.

Effectively communicating to all ages, Francis touched lives in a way no other guest has. After hearing the former NFL player in an evening service, Canyon Ferry Road Baptist Church high school students invited him to attend an informal gathering during their school lunch. He spoke of his football days, but emphasized the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus. He also spoke to the Christian high school and was again well received.

Wallace Francis brought the Word of God, the message of intimacy with Christ, the value of worship and the importance of prayer. He challenged us to repentance and to reach our community through revival.
